A professionally-developing world-first* CPD game show for lawyers, hosted by Julian Morrow from The Chaser & The Checkout.
** This page now features what the media would call an “Exclusive” in the form of a unique link to publicly available information:
Specifically designed to satisfy the requirements for (at least) 1 CPD unit in the Ethics and Professional Responsibility category, and coincidentally scheduled just in the time for the end of the CPD Year, legal ethics has never been this fun … which isn’t saying much.
This session will be jam-packed with information about recent developments and issues in the fields of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, unconventionally packaged in the form of a game show. The new and original format of Ethical Pursuit draws not only on Julian Morrow’s experience as a lawyer (no longer practising, but never actually struck off), but also as the creator of other educational quiz formats such as “Question Time”, the weekly Australian politics quiz he ran as host of Friday Drive on Radio National in 2012-13, and “The Chaser’s Media Circus” on ABC TV.
Tickets – $58.o0 includes GLASS OF WINE on arrival (and also a $3 booking fee + GST)
* world-first claim in no way researched or verified
**Note: Seminars and other CPD activities are not accredited by The Law Society of New South Wales. Under the CPD Rules, if this particular educational activity is relevant to your immediate or long term needs in relation to your professional development and practice of the law, then you should claim one “unit” for each hour of attendance, refreshment breaks not included. The annual requirement is ten (10) units each year from 1 April to 31 March.
